Dr. Moran is a native of San Antonio and proud son of his father who served at Lackland Air Force base. After completing an undergraduate degree at Southwestern University, he obtained a Masters degree in Biochemistry from the University of Houston. He returned to San Antonio to go to Medical school, and obtained a residency in Anesthesiology in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Subsequently, he did a subspecialty fellowship in Pain Medicine. He is board certified in Anesthesiology since 2006 with a subspecialty certification in Pain Medicine since 2007. Dr Moran also sits on the board of The Chronic Pain Resource Center of South Texas.
When not practicing pain medicine, he loves to coach his kids in many sports including volleyball, soccer, basketball, softball, and baseball. He met his wife in the fourth grade and they enjoy being involved in all of their kids activities. His hobbies include basketball, golf, tennis, and military aviation.
